My Secret

Some time ago, a long time ago it seems, there was a lot of things that I wanted to say but  couldn’t. I was ashamed of the words that would pour out of me, that it would be used to define me permanently, that I would not be able to shake them off once I let them go.

So I went to an anonymous website and wrote them there instead. It was only for the briefest moment, but that anonymity? It saved me.

(Funny that today I can’t even remember the name of the website.)
