somethings are better left unsaid
         C
but if u look into my eyes
Am                                      D
You will find I have no place to run or hide

(Chords repeat)

There’s a restlessness in me
Begging to be let free
Wish I could find the words
Wish I could ease the hurt
Somethings are better left untold
As I lay here all alone
A single flame across the sky
Across the nite

D G                           Em
tonite…I’ll be your guiding light

wish I could tell you how much you mean to me
                     (how much I love you)

Can’t believe it can hurt so bad

Wish I could tell the world
But I couldn’t find the strength
Couldn’t find the way to make u understand
As I lay here all alone
Wish u could hear me now

Ijah’s Note: This took 2 years to complete. Its working title was “cheesy song”. I didn’t write it with anyone in particular in mind; nor did it come from personal experience. It was just one of those songs that have completely nothing to do with me, yet became the one most requested.
